Who we are

Aquila Ltd is a private golf networking platform based in London, UK. We are the data controller for personal data collected at aquila.golf. Contact: privacy@aquila.golf

What we collect and why

When you authenticate via LinkedIn we receive and store: your full name, email address, profile photo, and LinkedIn user identifier.

We use this data solely to operate the Aquila member Registry — matching you with compatible professionals for golf rounds. We never sell it or share it for marketing.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), collected when you confirm joining the Registry.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on Vercel's infrastructure in Frankfurt, Germany — an EU jurisdiction covered by the UK adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

For as long as your membership is active. Request deletion at any time and we will remove your record within 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@aquila.golf and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We set a single strictly-necessary session cookie to maintain your login. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
